The Launched Water Coaster replaces the classic lift hill with a powerful launch. Boats accelerate in seconds and carry that speed into airtime hills, tight curves and fast water sections. It rides like a coaster first and finishes like a water ride, with a splash nobody walks away from dry.

The launch changes more than the first few seconds. Without a lift hill, the layout gains freedom. That means more options for compact sites, stronger theming and a high-energy start that pulls spectators to the queue line. Boats are built for comfort and quick dispatch, so capacity stays high on busy days.

Donnervind at Freizeitpark Plohn in Germany shows what the concept can do: a launched water coaster that works as the park’s signature attraction.
